I had a great lack of self-confidence, was not satisfied with myself. My lifestyle has changed. I now enjoy my meals, eat consciously and don’t spend whole days eating. Combining IF with lots of exercise makes me feel better about myself. I see my body changing positively and have a positive mindset. Now I am so much stronger. That I am good enough. I found out during the trajectory that since my childhood until before the trajectory, all I had been doing was pleasing people. Got myself into all sorts of corners to be there for others. Many given up for this. In the end, they did not choose me and I have often been disappointed by my neighbor. I sought comfort in food because of this. I was not good enough. This caused me to start dieting at a young age, which only worked for a short time. It was super nice the support every day. The emails were nicely varied. From a workout to recipes to encouragement to a positive kick in the butt to persevere or push through. Nice also to stand strong together with others. Recipe exchanges but also the struggles along the way. Nice that you also have moments to get feedback and ask questions. I would recommend the coaching program to anyone who wants to break the negative cycle. I was so done with myself and the negative feelings and thoughts. Just full enjoyment of everything again!

My biggest problem was restlessness at work. Now I know I’m on the right track. In my development and embrace the path towards it as well.

I felt that I was doing everything I could to lose weight and eat healthier, but that very often I did not want to give up my treats and that as a result I only gained weight instead of losing it. I was overweight, suffered from bloating and was not comfortable in my skin. Doubted I could keep it up and that it wouldn’t just be rabbit food. IF made me more energetic, I slept better and my food became a lot tastier. I also no longer need afternoon naps and hardly drink any coffee. I don’t do it as strictly now as I did in the beginning. On weekends I do go out to eat, but I choose very different things from the menu now, simply because
I now find healthy food much tastier than a greasy snack. And on the weekends, it’s okay to have a glass of wine (too much). Then during the week I eat nice and healthy again.

I lost 11 kg in 3 months. I had problems with my bowels and being overweight. My biggest insight was that breakfast is not the most important meal of the day. Not eating breakfast suits me much better. Exercising before I’ve eaten is also fine. Because of the low-carb diet, I hardly have any cravings. And if I get up in the morning feeling hungry, I drink some water and so I don’t have to eat. The feeling does not stay and I could easily wait for hours more. Often I eat at the time I thought of beforehand, and not because I am hungry. My monthly symptoms are very much improved. I also really sleep ten times better and am calmer in my head. I recommend Sylvia’s journey to anyone who needs a little support to achieve goals.

My problem: Filling a hole with food, quick fix, quick comfort choice. Negative self thoughts and not being able to really look at myself, not knowing what I want, feeling lost and then just going on anyway.

My biggest insights were keeping the long-term goal in mind and working on myself daily. That I am there to change how I feel. Becoming aware of my thoughts and behaviors, not just rambling on. Patterns are very stuck and take time. I hoped for a long time that I had spent enough time grieving and abusing, I felt I should be over it by now. This pattern percolates throughout my life: I shouldn’t whine and just get on with it. I realized how destructive I can be to myself, negative thoughts and how it affects me. I am super motivated to take good care of myself and maintain this lifestyle.

I was overweight and did not have the strength to permanently adjust my diet. That 2 healthy nutritious meals a day can make one feel so nicely fulfilled was my greatest insight and what a beautiful trajectory Sylvia has built! My problem was that I was snacking all day…. it e.g. not 1 licorice but the whole jar!!! And drinking soda, eating unhealthy food. I was very tired and didn’t feel like doing anything!

I learned that what you put in your mouth matters! And that you have to feed and not fill. Taking the time to eat, eating quietly and not rushed. I hardly ever candy anymore ( and if I take something it’s 1 candy and no more bag! No more need for chips but strawberries instead! No more potatoes but the occasional sweet potato. So much has changed in my way of life and lifestyle. Sylvia’s course is highly recommended for types who eat (cram) very unhealthy and a lot. With me, though, the knob has been turned. I also find that very easily, if I did take that candy or glass of wine, I can pick it up well the next day.
